Some of our work |

Much of Robert's work, especially on listed buildings requires matching any extensions or alterations they do to the style of the existing building, as seen here. The extension that was built here added a living room, bedroom above and a conservatory. Local natural building stone was used to first floor level with feathered edge boards above. This particular extension was built to a very high specification with oak flooring to the ground floor and very large English oak purlins to the roof. Even with this design of extension, a good level of insulation was achieved. All the joinery, including the conservatory, was built in Robert's joinery workshop.
| WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID: "We were quickly impressed by Robert's enthusiastic approach to the work. He was very eager and keen wo work with both our architect and ourselves to achieve desired ends. The work in the tender was completed without flaws and extra work which was not anticipated due to the complexity of the job was undertaken after much intelligent advice and consultation between Robert, ourselves and the architect. Robert's team worked well together and were always courteous and obliging. The standard of workmanship was always of top quality both on the site and down in the workshop where the carpentry work was carried out. They were all very punctual and hard working | ![]() |

Robert carries out all types of construction work, including new properties. The one pictured here is of Edwardian design to maintain the look of the surrounding properties. This large four bedroomed house had all purpose made joinery produced in his workshop.
| WHAT OUR CLIENT SAID: "A local architect recommended Mr Taylor to us for his traditional building and joinery skills. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the quality of the housebuilding, and also with the conduct of Mr Taylor and his staff throughout construction. We have received a large number of compliments about the appearance and quality of the house, and I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Taylor's services." | ![]() |
